Between 2am and 7am on Wednesday 1 February 2012, unknown offenders stole a white Citroen minibus, registration P805 OSG, from outside a house on Derbyshire Lane.
The vehicle belongs to the charity Trafford Wheelers and is used to transport disabled people.
The minibus is a 10-seater and has rear wheelchair access. It has a distinctive blue Trafford Wheelers logo on the front and rear.
The car was stolen without its keys.
Police Constable Michael Dever, said: “The vehicle is clearly identifiable as belonging to a charity and I am appalled someone would deliberately steal it.
“The minibus is widely used and relied upon and I would encourage anyone who has seen it or knows who stole it to call police.”
Anyone with information can call police on 0161 856 7502, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
