As an antidote to the foul bigotry of Mohammed Hasnath, I want to blog about the Safra Project.
This charity is a resource project working on some of the key needs and issues for Muslim lesbian, bisexual and transgender women.
The word Safra is related to the words for "journey" and "discovery" in languages such as Arabic, Farsi and Urdu.
The Safra Project is not a faith group and does not seek to provide ultimate answers or solutions.
Donate to the Safra Project here. You can also volunteer with the project.
The site also contains some resources in Urdu.
