Oxford Zone products can be used on Stagecoach, Thames Travel buses from 24 July

Good news for those using public transport in Oxford.

From 24th July, Oxford SmartZone products will replace Oxford Zone ones, allowing people to travel not only on Oxford Bus Company services but also buses in Oxford operated by Stagecoach and Thames Travel.

The key will work on Thames Travel and Stagecoach buses across Oxford, so long as you have a valid Oxford Zone product, you won’t need to do anything until your current product expires. 

 

You can still top up at the Debenhams Travel Shop , or at oxfordkey.co.uk, and you won’t need to change your smartcard.

Brookesbus travel products will not change and will only be valid on Oxford Bus Company Services, as will airline and espress (X70/80/90) travel products.

It should be noted that there will be changes to Oxford Bus Company timetables from 24 July on routes 2, 4, 5 and 8/9. 

Some Stagecoach routes in Oxford will also have timetable changes as well.
