The Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines will be affected, as will emergency response services across the network. Other lines will also be disrupted.
Yet Tfl have failed to provide any information for passengers or advice on alternative routes on their web site.
The current lead item is the breathtakingly irritating "Shop 'til you drop! T-shirts, toys, tea towels and trinkets - there's something for everyone in the TfL Shop", as if Tfl stood for Tourism for London. Search results do not bring up any information on the latest strikes, and there is no way of sorting information by date- which is essential for travelling news.
Bad show, tfl.
UPDATE: Tfl have put a small paragraph on the front page
However, they should advise passengers who normally use other lines that they will have more passengers than normal. Leave early from home and walk as much of the journey as possible.
Possible RMT strike action
* A strike by Tube Lines maintenance workers may disrupt the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines from late morning Wednesday 20 August until the evening of 23 August. A normal service is expected on other lines. Please check before you travel.
